Learning Objectives
As a result of participation in this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize clinical manifestations of metabolic bone disease in renal transplant patients.
  • Identify risk factors (general/specific for transplant) for osteoporosis in renal transplant patients.
  • Manage persistent hyperparathyroidism, hypophosphatemia and osteoporosis in renal transplant patients.
