I have established models for enhanced patient-centered care for those with CKD to ESKD transition, with special emphasis on the patients who are at the most fragile stage of CKD. My overall goal is to enhance patient-centered approaches that can lead to greater patient satisfaction in medical therapies.

I received my medical degree from Gujarat University in India, received specialized training in internal medicine at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Gujarat University, and received my nephrology trainings from University of Toronto and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in India. I am board certified in nephrology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
